Mark Robbins Grand Knight

I was born on April 24, 1958 to Donald and Susan Robbins of Pleasantville NJ. I am the oldest of 5 children. I have four younger sisters Donna, Christine, Jane and Jenifer. All of whom still live locally. My father was a third-degree Knight in the Pleasantville council until he passed in 1998.


Iím a graduate of Holy Spirit High School class of 1976. I also graduated from Atlantic County Vo-tech with a degree in Electricity. Upon graduating I started right into the work force as an electricianís helper and today still hold my New Jersey Electrical Contractors license which I achieved in 1995.


In 1985 I married Kelley Brown and to this day Iím still married to the same kind and beautiful woman. We have two Children Mark jr and Allie Faber. We have three grandchildren Joela, Dylan and Hadley with Kennedy Sue due in October of 2018.


I am currently employed as a manager of the Facilities Department at both Caesars and Ballyís Hotel Casino in Atlantic City. I started my career with Tropicana in 1982 and move over to Trump Plaza in 1984 as an electrician; I stayed with Trump Plaza until 2008.


As a family my wife and I decided to branch out to Washington where I seized and opportunity to open a brand-new destination resort for Lowes Enterprise called Suncadia. I stayed with the company for three years, but I yarned for New Jersey and my family, so we made our return move back in May of 2011.


In June of the same year I started back in the casino industry at Showboat. Before closing I was move to Ballyís where my career continues to grow.


I joined the Knights of Columbus Villa Marie Council 6342 in 2011 and achieved my three degrees in one month, and my fourth degree that November in the Fr. Michael J. McGivney Assembly 3093. In the council I served as the Warden, Deputy Grand Knight and now I am the Grand Knight of the Villa Marie council 6342. I am also serving as the Faithful Purse for the past 2 years in the Fr. Michael J. McGivney Assembly 3093.
